Meet the owner of Fauxing Fox: Madi Schaetzle

From a young age, I was immersed in the world of faux finishing, working alongside my mom from the tender age of 12. Many of my summer breaks were spent mastering the craft under her expert guidance, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

Today, while my mom enjoys her well-deserved retirement, I am proudly carrying forward our legacy with my own brand. Having developed a broad expertise in various finishes, I hold a special fondness for specialty plasters — they are my true passion. I thrive on the creativity that each new project demands and enjoy the physicality of the work.

But the real reward comes from seeing the delight on our clients' faces at the completion of each project. This gratification drives my commitment to excellence and innovation in every endeavor.
